What is JK BMS?

battery balancing
One of the key parameters of JK BMS is cell balance. This process ensures that all cells in the battery pack are charged and discharged evenly, preventing capacity imbalances that can lead to reduced battery life and performance. Its charging current limit is 10A, the maximum balancing current is 2A, and the maximum passing current is 200A. Its equalization trigger pressure difference defaults to 10mv and can also be customized. JK BMS actively monitors and balances the battery to maintain optimal performance.

State of Charge (SOC)
SOC is another important parameter managed by JK BMS. It indicates the current charge level in the battery pack as a percentage of its total capacity. By accurately tracking SOC, JK BMS helps prevent overcharging or overdischarging, which can damage the battery and shorten its lifespan.

Communication instructions
1. RS232 communication
Bms can communicate with the host computer through the RS232 interface, so that various battery information can be monitored through the host computer, including battery voltage, current, temperature, status and battery production information, etc. The default baud rate is 9600bps.
2. CAN communication
The default communication rate of CAN communication is 250k.
3. RS485 communication
There are two RS485 communication interfaces, one of which outputs two interfaces in parallel for viewing battery pack information. The default baud rate is 115200. By setting the DIP switch to set the communication address, the data of all battery packs can be polled and queried. The address setting range is 0~15.


State of Health (SOH)
SOH is a key parameter that reflects the overall health and performance of the battery pack. The JK BMS continuously monitors various factors such as cycle count, temperature and voltage to assess SOH. By maintaining optimal operating conditions, JK BMS helps extend battery life and ensure reliable performance.
